Welcome to MobiFox, a retail operating system developed by Codesalen ("we", "us", or "our"). MobiFox provides specialized inventory tracking, device IMEI logging, and POS tax invoicing solutions for smartphone dealers and mobile electronics retailers.

This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding the collection, storage, use, and security of store records, staff credentials, and billing data when utilizing the MobiFox mobile app and web platform.

2. Information We Collect

MobiFox processes the following business data strictly to deliver retail operations functionality:

Store Information: Trade name, business phone number, email address, GSTIN, store physical address, and thermal invoice headers.
IMEI & Inventory Records: Device IMEI numbers, serial numbers, brand, model, purchase price, selling price, warranty duration, and vendor references.
Customer Purchase Records: Customer contact name, mobile number, and purchase line-item histories generated during counter checkout.
Staff Accounts: Employee names, authorized roles (Store Manager, Cashier, Technician), and secure 4-digit PIN authentication hashes.

3. Mobile Device Permissions

The MobiFox mobile application requests minimal device permissions strictly necessary for POS hardware integration:

Camera: Used exclusively to scan device IMEI barcodes, product UPC codes, and QR payment codes. No unauthorized images or video feeds are captured or stored.
Bluetooth: Used solely to discover, pair with, and print tax receipts on standard 58mm and 80mm ESC/POS thermal printers.
Storage: Used to export and cache PDF tax invoices and Excel stock reports locally on your device.

4. Data Ownership & Enterprise Security

You own your store data completely. We do not sell, rent, or share your store customer lists, IMEI inventory records, or financial metrics with any third parties or competitors.

All cloud communications are secured using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3/HTTPS). Private documents and receipts are protected by multi-tenant cryptographic isolation.
